Students can apply for financial aid upon acceptance to the college or any time during their studies, with a window of up to 60 days after the completion of their academic year or program.
Applications for financial aid are made through the Government of Quebec’s Student Financial Assistance website.
To apply, log in to your online Student Financial Assistance File using your permanent code as your username and Vanier’s institution code: 934000.
You may apply for loans and bursaries each academic year. Applications typically open in late May or early June.

The Perspective Scholarship program is available for Quebec students enrolled full-time in eligible programs in CEGEPs, private colleges and universities in Quebec. It aims to increase the number of qualified people in professions prioritized by the government, such as essential public services as well as in strategic areas for the economy. For each semester of studies completed, students are awarded $1500, for a total of $9000 at the end of a 3-year career program.
If you are already enrolled in an eligible program, you may continue to receive scholarships until you complete your studies or until the Winter 2029 semester, whichever comes first—if you meet the one of following conditions:
To remain eligible in 2025–2026, students must receive one of these scholarships at least once per year. Students will not be eligible if they meet none of the aforementioned requirements.
