Outside of these programs, it's possible to take a complementary course with an international component.

A cross-continental partnership

Through Vanier's partnerships with the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) and the Na’ankusê Wildlife Sanctuary, students from an expanding range of programs have the opportunity to do their internships, research/term projects and field courses in Namibia, Africa.

Target programs

Animal Health Technology and Environmental and Wildlife Management: Students work with local conservation initiatives to care for and study animals, including cheetahs, African wild dogs, goats, sheep and a range of reptiles and insects.
Business Administration students in both Marketing and Accounting streams assist with the day to day operations of the CCF while conducting business assessments and identifying opportunities to optimize processes.
Early Childhood Education students volunteer in local schools and daycares, while Social Science students immerse themselves in the local community, learning about its customs, history and socioeconomics.
