Guidance counsellors play a key role in supporting students transitioning from secondary school to college.
Francesca Abbondanza-Bergeron is Vanier’s liaison officer and is the point of contact for all guidance counsellors looking to find out more about Vanier.
Every year in the fall, Vanier invites hosts an event exclusively for guidance counsellors. During this information session, members of the Vanier team present some of our programs and provide key admissions information.
Invitations are sent via email usually in late August/early September.
To be added to our guidance counsellor mailing list, write us. Be sure to include the name of the school where you work.
Vanier staff and faculty visit a number of schools in the greater Montreal area during the fall and winter semesters.
Most often, guidance counsellors invite us to set up a booth during an event where many other CEGEPs are present. Our representatives can answer questions about admissions, our programs and life at Vanier.
We can also give workshops on specific programs or topics, subject to the availability of the team. If you have any specific topics you would like us to cover, we're always happy to create content to support your students' transition to CEGEP.
