Yes, the Student Services Office maintains a Housing Registry for student reference. The Registry provides details about apartments for rent in the borough of Saint-Laurent and the surrounding area.
All students receive their free agenda at the beginning of the semester. Come to VCSA, room C-214.
All students are required to carry their Vanier College I.D. card at all times and must show it to staff whenever it is requested. Cards must be validated at the start of each semester. I.D. Cards can be validated at the IT Center in room E-406.
Go to the I.T. Centre (E-406) from 10am to 4pm. Bring your printed schedule and photo identification such as a driver’s license or medicare card. Replacement cards cost $10. If you lost your I.D. card, check the Lost and Found at the security desk (F-243) to see if it was turned in.
The Financial Aid Office is open 8:30am to 4:30pm daily. Visit Student Services (C203) or call 744-7500, ext. 7883.
Students must use our drop-in service in Student Services (C-203). Students first meet with a Social Work Technician, who will gather information about their situation and refer them to the appropriate professional in the College. Please see the Receptionist in Student Services (C-203) to inquire about drop-in hours. John Atkins is the nurse on duty in The Health Services Centre; you can come to Student Services (C-203) to make an appointment. John offers drop-in hours throughout the week, the receptionist at Student Services (C-203) can inform you of his drop-in times.
Contact security (F-243), 744-7500, ext. 7575 or use one of the intercom boxes found in the hallways. Report any emergencies or accidents immediately and don’t leave an injured person unattended; send someone else for help.

Come to Student Services (room C-203) for approval of notices pertaining to Vanier College activities; once stamped, they can be posted on any of the general bulletin boards in the college. External notices (those advertising articles for sale, services offered or activities outside the college) require no approval stamp but can only be posted on the Community Notices boards located on the ground floor of Building C.
Most student clubs are operated by the Vanier College Students’ Association (VCSA). Their office is located in C-214.

Photocopying and Printing for Students
Vanier students use college copiers via login with username and password on the control panel on copier machines. No cash, no debit/credit cards.
Login for students enrolled in credit courses:
Username: The letter “e” followed by the student ID number.
Password: “van” followed by birthday in format: mmddyy
For example, type van122892 if the birthday is the 28th December, 1992.
Costs: Students’ Omnivox Printing Credit accounts are automatically debited:
b + w: 7 cents; colour: 50 cents; scans: free
All students have a $5 credit on their Omnivox Printing Credit account. Additional Printing credits can be purchased in $5 bundles through your Omnivox account – click on Printing Credit Account and follow the prompts

Computers are available in the two I.T. Centres (D301 and N215) and the library.
The library and the two I.T. Centres (N215 and D301) have high-speed Internet access for academic purposes for students. The campus also provides wireless access in most areas.
Class cancellations can be viewed on the college web site via Current Students. Cancellations are also posted on the classroom door.

Go to your Omnivox Account, select OPUS Card Form, print the Attendance Attestation Letter and bring it to your transit company’s point of service.
