Centre d'aide en français (CAF)
Located in E-300, the CAF offers support to students needing help with their French courses, as well as preparation for the Épreuve uniforme de français exam.
Tutoring
Our tutors are available to help you with your written and oral French. While tutors cannot correct your work, they can help you understand your mistakes, practice speaking, give advice and direct you to other resources. Students can choose between paired or drop-in tutoring.
Paired tutoring
Students work one hour a week with a peer tutor. This service is available from Week 4 until Week 15 of the semester.
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm in E-300.
Drop-in tutoring
Available from week 4 to week 15 of the semester.
- Monday - Friday: 9am - 11am (E-312)
- Wednesday: 12:30pm - 2pm (E-300)
Workshops
French workshops, led by the tutoring team and specialists, will be offered on Wednesdays during Universal Break, from Week 4 to Week 13 in A-311. Topics are available on the Learning Commons community on Omnivox. Come and improve your French in a dynamic way!
