Vanier hosts A Discourse: Racism and Justice, November 6th

November 3, 2020

**Vanier College is pleased to announce that on November 6, the college will host a virtual Discourse: Racism and Justice. Prompted by the number of disturbing racist events that have taken place in this year alone, the college is seeking to initiate a conversation about systemic racism and discrimination and explore ways to deal with it.

“When planning for the annual Vanier College Symposium on the Holocaust and Genocide began in June 2020, it quickly became obvious that we needed to include the subject of race in this year’s symposium,” says Marlene Grossman organizer of the symposium and of the November 6th event. “As such, a committee was struck to develop the idea and organize an event. The result is a day of guest speakers who will address the many facets of racism.”

Registration will be mandatory and once registration is complete, we will send you the link to attend. You can register at: https://www.vaniercollege.qc.ca/holocaust-genocide-symposium/discourse-racism-justice
