Congratulations to the Vanier Robotics Team who took 2nd place overall at MoDuel, the 2026 CRC Robotics Competition that took place February 18-21, where they competed with and against 27 high schools and CEGEPs from around Montreal in an exciting display of skill, knowledge and camaraderie.
Despite its name, robots are only a small part of the CRC Robotics Competition. Students also compete in several other categories where they design and build a themed kiosk, make a website, film and edit two videos, as well as compete in a parallel programming competition.
The Vanier Team performed phenomenally, winning second place at the (fairly complex) game! They also ranked high in several other categories:
They also came close to 4th place for Video and Kiosk. All combined, these earned the Vanier Robotics Team second place overall in this year’s competition!
Our team of 55 students also brought home the Sportsmanship trophy, voted by all other schools, for the second year in a row, showing that the Vanier students went above and beyond in cheering for and helping out the other teams.
Let’s give a hand to the talented, motivated and hard-working Vanier Team and their outstanding results at the 2026 CRC Robotics Competition!
