Vanier College is proud to announce that graduating student Chanika Major (left) and second-year student Arielle Leblanc (right), both in the Architectural Technology program, have been selected as this year’s recipients of the Broccolini Student Life Award. Pictured are both students with Anthony Broccolini.
This award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding leadership, commitment, and involvement - not only within the campus community but beyond it.
Chanika and Arielle stood out for their dedication to enhancing the quality of student life, their passion for collaboration, and their efforts to create a more vibrant, supportive, and inclusive environment for their peers and community.
In addition to receiving a cheque of $ 1,500 each, both students received a guided tour of the Broccolini head office in Kirkland, where they also sat down and chat with Anthony Broccolini, CEO and alumnus of Vanier’s Architectural Technology program.
“Congratulations to this year's Broccolini Student Life Award recipients. Their commitment to their peers and their community is exactly what this award is meant to recognize, and one we are proud to support", said Emilie David, Director, People & Culture, Broccolini.
“We extend our sincere thanks to Broccolini for their continued and generous support of our program. We are especially proud that many of their talented staff are graduates of our program. We are also grateful for the construction site visits that Broccolini regularly offers to our students, which provide valuable real-world context to complement in-class learning. Thank you for helping us train the next generation of industry professionals,” states Michael Lancione, coordinator of the Architectural Technology program.
Congratulations to Chanika Major and Arielle Leblanc!
