It is with sadness that Vanier has learned of the passing of retiree, Julian Lebensold on September 3, 2025, at the age of 77.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Julian will be remembered for his generosity, humour, intellect, love of design, and enduring perseverance in the face of life’s challenges.
Professionally, Julian worked first as a graphic designer and photo editor at the Montreal Star. He then completed a master’s in computer science and pursued a career as a software engineer, project manager and consultant, and then for nearly twenty years, as a professor at Vanier College.
