In Memoriam: Emily (Milly) Hunger, 1931, 2025

A true social butterfly and the queen of hospitality and making people feel special, Milly had a remarkable gift for developing and nurturing strong, lasting relationships throughout her life.

For 23 years, she was the heartbeat of the Physical Education and Athletic departments at Vanier College, and her legendary candy jar was always available for staff, students, and their kids. As she did with our family home, Milly greeted everyone with a smile, and she helped create an environment filled with laughter, warmth, and empathy.

Details of a celebration to honour Milly’s remarkable life will be announced at a later date.
