What started as a creative element of Vanier College’s Uniquely différent campaign soon caught the attention of the College community. The Maison Vanier collection, a limited-edition line of college apparel developed for the campaign’s fashion-inspired visuals, sparked questions from students and employees eager to get their hands on the pieces. In response, Vanier Communications brought the collection to the community through a pop-up shop.

Held on campus from October 7 to 9, 2026, the pop-up offered crewnecks, hoodies, sweatpants, T-shirts, rugby polos, and handmade jackets, as well as accessories including baseball caps, socks and totes. The clothing was ethically sourced and made in Canada using premium materials, in collaboration with Montreal-based Flavio Studio.

At its heart, Uniquely différent celebrates what makes Vanier’s community unique and the sense of belonging that brings people together. Making the Maison Vanier collection available for purchase offered students, staff and faculty a tangible way to participate in the campaign.

Students and student-athletes also helped promote the pop-up through a series of Instagram reels, showcasing the collection while sharing what has made their experience at Vanier unique.

The sale itself exceeded expectations, with positive feedback from shoppers and visitors.

“The Vanier community has a strong sense of pride and identity, and people are always looking to express that,” said Isabelle Moncion, Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs. “The excitement around this initiative was palpable, and it was wonderful to see students and employees try on pieces and make them their own. Seeing the collection move beyond the campaign visuals and into the hands of our community really brought the message of Uniquely différent to life: what makes each of us unique is also what brings us together.”
