Vanier College is saddened to announce the death of Dr. Maurry Hart Epstein who passed away on April 2nd, 2014. Maurry held many positions at Vanier College before retiring in 1998. He was Sector Head at the Snowdon Campus, Director of Continuing Education, Secretary General, Director of Planning, Research and Faculty Development and Director of Corporate Affairs, Communications and Development. EPSTEIN, Dr. Maurry Hart (M.H.). After a brief illness, on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Beloved husband, best friend and soul-mate of Sheila Lowsky. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Brandi and Terry Cowl, Dee-Dee and Jim Atkinson. Cherished Zaidie of Marnie, Duncan, and the late Tristan. Son of the late Lloyd and the late Muriel Epstein; and son-in-law of the late Rose and the late Leo Lowsky. Dear brother-in-law of Carole and Eddie Burack, Michael and Frances Lowsky. Maurry/M.H. will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family, “chosen” family, and all of those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank Dr. Carmella Pepe, Tara Jesion, and their team for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, April 3, at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Tikvah Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
