The Vanier College Indigenous Circle, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, is pleased to announce that it is hosting Regalia, a Native Pride photography exhibit from April 7th to April 22nd.

Regalia is a photography exhibit that pays homage to tradition and modernity by featuring photos and testimonials of traditional Indigenous Pow Wow dancers dressed in their beautiful and intricate traditional regalia from eastern Canada.

Montreal photographer, Roland Lorente, along with his partner Aline Saffore, attended over 20 Pow Wows, travelling over 10,000 km in order to photograph dancers and document their stories.

Come check it out. It’s a stunning collection of large 4’ x 6’ images that will be on display outside on the Vanier campus along the walkway between the D and N buildings.

The exhibition will be there for the next 2 weeks - a perfect foretaste to the Montreal Pow Wow that will take on the front lawn of Vanier College May 7th and 8th. The exhibition is open to the public.
