Parent Representatives elected to sit on the Vanier Board of Directors

Vanier College is pleased to announce that on November 2, 2022, Saïd Sadouk and Martin Wiedenhoff were elected at the Vanier Parents General Assembly to sit on the Vanier College Board of Directors as parent representatives for a 2-year mandate.

Saïd Sadouk is a father of four, and his two eldest children are currently at Vanier. He has held a number of senior roles within the aerospace industry, and is presently a Senior Technical Expert at Bell Flight. Saïd Sadouk holds a Master in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique de Montréal and has played an active role on a number of educational committees and boards.

Martin Wiedenhoff is a Senior Advisor in Business Architecture at Desjardins. Martin Wiedenhoff previously held various leadership roles in product management, advisory services and sales/marketing growth strategies with clients both in the SME and Fortune 500 segment across North America and globally. He has lived in nine cities and five countries and speaks five languages and regularly volunteers. His daughter is currently a student at Vanier.

The Board of Directors is the governing body of the College and is composed of nineteen members who serve on a voluntary basis and represent industry, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, parents and students. The Board meets approximately eight times per academic year and oversees certain college operations, establishes major college policies, and develops academic and related plans. Parent representatives must have a child who is currently enrolled full-time at Vanier College, and not be an employee of the College.
