Heather Eason Joins COOPSCO Board of Directors

On February 19th, Heather Eason, General Manager of the Vanier Co-op since 2018, was elected to three Boards of Directors: COOPSCO and two of its subsidiaries: Groupe Fides and Comisco. She will hold one of the fourteen available seats on each board.

COOPSCO represents a network of over 60 Cooperatives in the province of Quebec and Ontario. They provide tailored support to help operate the Bookstore and Café.

Vanier Co-op is 1 of only 2 English Co-op’s in the COOPSCO network, and having Heather serve on the Board of Directors will bring a unique opportunity to advocate for the needs of the Anglophone college community. She can help influence and implement certain support systems in place at COOPSCO, with Vanier Co-op’s best interest in mind.
