Vanier College is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg De Luca to the position of Director of Continuing Education and Community Services, effective December 19, 2022.
Greg offers a wealth of experience to his new role, having acted as Interim Director and Coordinator of Continuing Education and Community Services at Vanier. Greg, who first joined the Cegep system as an experienced English teacher in 2006, brings with him a mastery of pedagogy and considerable experience in teaching, ACS program development and managing various aspects of Continuing Education.
“I am thrilled to announce that Greg De Luca is our new Director of Continuing Education and Community Services. Greg’s broad experience in many aspects of Continuing Education, ranging from teaching to developing new programs as well as managing, informs his global vision of the needs of Cont Ed. His energetic commitment, deep understanding of education, and imaginative approach will guide the development and direction Continuing Education takes in the future,” said John McMahon, Director General of Vanier College.
Prior to coming to Vanier, Greg was Manager of Operations for the Continuing Education Department at Champlain College St. Lambert. Before that, he spent six years as a Pedagogical Counsellor responsible for managing several ACS programs, acting as a lead developer on a number of network ACS programs, such as the Virtual & Augmented Reality Specialist ACS (NTL.1K), and coordinating the Champlain International Language School. Greg also worked at the Vanier Language School where he taught a number of English second-language courses and developed the TEFL certificate course in 2016.

Greg has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing, Concordia University and a Master’s Degree in College Teaching (Performa) from the Université de Sherbrooke.
