2018 Vanier Grad Samuel Emilus accepts rookie mini-camp invitation from Arizona Cardinals

Congratulations to Canadian receiver and Vanier grad Samuel Emilus who accepted a rookie mini-camp invitation from the Arizona Cardinals, according to TSN’s Farhan Lalji.

Samuel Emilus was a great student athlete who graduated from Vanier in 2018 with a DCS in General Social Science. Samuel then obtained a full scholarship to the University of Massachusetts. During his last year at Vanier he won the Male Athlete of the Year Award from Vanier Athletics.

While at UMASS, Samuel played three successful seasons (2018-2020) as a receiver with the Minutemen before he transferred to Louisiana Tech University for another successful 2021 season.

Vanier Athletics’ Mai Anh Nguyen is highly optimistic about his future possibilities with either the NFL or the CFL.
