Vanier College is thrilled to be hosting the Montreal local event for the NASA Space App challenge on November 14th and 15th. This international hackathon invites participants to solve real-world challenges using publicly available data related to astronomy, climate change, agriculture, and other exciting topics.
Space and open-data enthusiasts will collaborate, using critical thinking to find innovative solutions to many challenges facing scientists today. Technical skills, such as the ability code, are a plus, but there will be coaches with programming experience available on site and online to help participants with their projects.
We’ll cover breakfast, lunch, and wifi. Just bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a laptop. Options to participate online will also be available via Discord.
