Noureddine Lachhab appointed head coach of Women’s D1 soccer team
Vanier College Athletics is pleased to announce that Noureddine Lachhab, currently interim head coach (2025-26), has been appointed head coach of the D1 women’s soccer team for 2026-2027 season.
Alongside Lachhab, Shaquille Michaud and Nicolas Giovanni will remain on the coaching staff as assistant coaches for the upcoming season.
Working as the current Technical Coordinator of Lakeshore Soccer Club and Head Coach of Lakeshore SC Ligue 1 Féminine Québec, Lachhab brings experience, connections and knowledge that will be key to the team’s success. With accomplishments such as coaching at the 2025 PDP Nationals, leading a team to the titles of PLSJQ Regular Season and Playoff Champions, bringing Lakeshore SC’s first Women’s League 2 team to promotion into League 1, winning Coach of the Year at the Lac-Saint-Louis Gala in 2022 and 2025 and much more, Vanier looks forward to seeing what Lachhab accomplishes as Head Coach with the Vanier Cheetahs.
