Nicholas Park named new Dean of Academic Systems and Registrar

Mr. Park brings a wealth of experience to this role, with nearly a decade at Vanier College. He first joined the College as a Physics teacher in 2016, then became Honours Science Coordinator, Science Engagement Officer, Physics Department and Curriculum Coordinator and Science Program Coordinator. In these various roles, Mr. Park led the implementation of the Science Program revision which required close collaboration with Scheduling and Admissions teams to support smoother student transitions from high school to cegep. He also worked to improve enrollment projections and allocations planning and organized a number of program-wide activities focused on recruiting, engaging and supporting students.

As Dean of Academic Systems and Registrar, Nicholas Park will oversee all aspects of student academic records, registration, scheduling, admissions, advising and teacher allocation. He will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our academic data and enhancing the student experience through efficient and effective registrar services.

The College also wishes to extend its sincerest gratitude to Sylvie Tardif for her dedicated service to Vanier. Her contributions and commitment to our College have been invaluable in the various roles she occupied, the latest one as Dean of Academic Systems and Registrar. Vanier wishes her all the best in her retirement.

Mr. Park will be starting his new role as of July 14, 2025.
