Jacqueline Matskiv appointed Communications Manager

Montreal, August 20, 2024. Vanier College is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacqueline Matskiv as Communications Manager. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs, this new position will play a key role in supporting the College’s promotional activities, including student recruitment initiatives and managing content on the new Vanier website to be launched very shortly.

Jacqueline joined Vanier in 2023 as a Communications Advisor, working on special recruitment campaigns for targeted programs including Early Childhood Education for which she coordinated the “Spark Young Minds” campaign. She’s also been very involved in the new college website and the development of SharePoint sites, participated in social media campaigns and recruitment events.

Prior to coming to Vanier, Jacqueline worked at Concordia University as a research assistant and associate for the ACT and AgeTeQ labs, a partnership between Concordia University and the Centre de Recherche Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal, and as a Communications Officer with Project Someone, partner organisation of the Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance.

Jacqueline holds a Master of Arts, Media Studies from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University.
