A Singular Creative Vision

At the heart of this preview is Minna Re Shin’s unmistakable authenticity and passion. In this intimate work-in-progress showing, Shin presents a live performance that fuses classical piano with contemporary dance—offering an early glimpse into a larger, evolving project that will ultimately bring together music, movement, Chinese calligraphy, video, and projection mapping. Rooted in her signature blend of Eastern and Western aesthetics, the full vision reimagines classical music through a rich, multidisciplinary lens.

"I dream big, and sometimes these dreams become attainable as I continue to believe in the pursuit of the elusive and the remarkable," says Shin. “Even more ambitious and audacious than Sonate Tableaux, Sonate des Saisons intertwines music, dance, and Chinese calligraphy into an evocative visual narrative—one that is deeply personal, culturally rich, and artistically bold.”

While the preview highlights the live integration of piano and dance, the complete work will also encompass cinematographic elements and digital visuals. A full-length album and video release are planned for spring 2026, offering presenters a unique opportunity to program a work that promises to captivate modern audiences across genres and generations.
