Purpose

To ensure consistency in granting the student credits towards his/her DEC.

Policy

  1. Preference for admission to a particular program will be given to candidates who, within their Secondary V Diploma, have completed all entry requirements to that program as established by DGEC.
  2. Applicants who lack these CEGEP program admission requirements may be admitted on an individual basis subject to the student successfully completing such courses within the prescribed period of time established by the College.
  3. The student shall be informed in writing by Admissions of their condition of acceptance.
  4. The status of their advancement or continuation in the program will be subject to satisfying the conditions set by the College.
  5. Where advisable, equivalent courses could be taken at CEGEP to replace the missing program admission requirements. In such cases successful completion of these courses may not be used as credits towards the student's DEC.
