Vanier College is proud to announce that Social Science student Tatiana Aholou recently received a $1,500 Academic Excellence bursary from Alliance Sport-études in partnership with the Service régional d’admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM).Tatiana is a true rising star in track and field. In 2016, she was crowned Canadian Youth and Junior Track and Field Champion in the 100m and put in an impressive performance in the long jump. Tatiana, who has already set several Canadian and Quebec records, hopes to represent Canada at the next Youth Commonwealth Games. She is currently in the Social Science Program at Vanier and would eventually like to study Law or work in the field of criminal psychology.Tatiana received her bursary from Céline Pelletier, Director of admissions with SRAM, at a reception that took place on April 27th at the Molson Coors Brewery where the spring awards were handed out. In all, 26 outstanding student athletes received bursaries of $1,000 to $2,500 in recognition of their academic excellence and their athletic achievements.L’Alliance et la Fondation Sport-Études are pleased to support athletes pursuing post secondary studies and to applaud teachers, parents and coaches for their role in helping student-athletes succeed.
