Moodle Day is scheduled for Friday May 26, 2017 at Dawson College.
The theme of this year’s Moodle Day is “Moodle and its Role in Higher Education.”
Presentations will be in the format of

  • Talks (15-20 minute), and
  • Round table discussions

Topics include 

  • Best practices and advice on using Moodle for pedagogical strategies (e.g. flipped-classroom, blended learning, etc.)
  • Implementation of Moodle resources and activities (e.g. book, label, quiz, forum, notifications, etc.)
  • Other topics that impact instruction and learning (e.g. student cognitive development, student motivation, IT in the classroom, etc.)

We will hear from those who use Moodle activities and resources to implement pedagogical strategies and those who have conducted tests using Moodle and its plugins, etc.

For those who cannot attend it in person, the day will be broadcast live. Details about the agenda and the broadcast will follow in the coming weeks.
