Seeking alumni members to join Board of Governors
The Vanier College Board of Governors is currently seeking alumni graduates to serve a three-year term.
There are currently two open seats : one for a pre-university graduate and one for a graduate from a career program.
The Board is the governing body of the College and is composed of 19 members who serve on a voluntary basis. The Board meets approximately six times per academic year on Tuesday evenings, in person or online, and oversees certain college operations, establishes major college policies, and plans.
To be eligible, the candidate should have:
- received their diploma from a career studies program or a pre-university program at Vanier College;
- not be a member of College staff.
- Preference will be given to candidates who received their diploma at least three (3) years ago, work in the St-Laurent borough, and are involved in social/community activities and organizations.

Submit your CV and expression of interest to Isabelle Moncion, Secretary General to the Board of Governors : [email protected] before Monday, October 26, 2026 at noon. The short cover letter should describe why you are interested in sitting on the Board of Governors and the relevant experience you would bring to the Board.
Submissions should also include the year of graduation and the program studies program from which you graduated. Candidates’ files will be reviewed by the Executive Committee of the Vanier College Board of Governors, who will make a recommendation to the Board of Directors for final appointment.
