Vanier College Board of Directors Chairman Réal Thibault Passes Away

Dear Colleagues,

iit is with deep regret that I inform you of the passing of Mr. Réal Thibault, Chairman of Vanier College’s Board of Directors. Mr. Thibault, who was a proud graduate of Vanier, was also a member of the college’s Executive Committee. Mr. Thibault passed away at home on Monday, March 3rd.

Réal had been serving on the Board since April 2008. He became Chairperson in June 2010.

Funeral service arrangements for Réal are still being finalized. I will inform the Vanier Community of all the details as soon as they are available.

On behalf of the Vanier Community I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to his family, colleagues and friends.

A commemorative ceremony will be held for Réal prior to the next Board of Directors meeting, which is taking place on Tuesday March 11th at 6:30 p.m. in room F216.
