In Memoriam: Malcom McDonald Downes 1946-2020

Vanier College is saddened to learn that former employee, Malcom McDonald Downes, passed away in 2020 in Barbados.
Malcom worked as a chemistry lab technician at Vanier for close to 20 years. Friend and colleague, former physics lab technician David Smith says, “I worked at the college for 36 years, and all of the science lab technicians were close friends. Malcolm Downes worked as the chemistry lab technician and I believe he started in 1973.”
