William (Bill) Fielding

The College announced the death of retired Vanier teacher, Bill Fielding, who passed away at his home in Williamstown, Ontario on October 22, 2015.

Bill taught in the Biology and Animal Health Departments from August 1997 until his departure in March 2005.

Our sympathies go out to his family and friends as well as to all of his colleagues in the Biology and Animal Health Departments.

FIELDING, William Charles – At the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday, October 22, 2015. William Charles Fielding of Williamstown; age 69 years. Beloved husband of Susan Fielding (nee Christiani). Loving father of Sean Fielding (Erin Field) of Williamstown and Ryan Fielding (Gwen Pinelli) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Hanna and Brandon. Dear son of Charlie Fielding (Mabel) of Alberta and the late Margaret Thelma Woodhouse. Dear brother of Vern Fielding (Shirley Clark) of Gananoque and Doug Fielding of Calgary. Predeceased by one granddaughter Robyn, and by one sister Thelma Dumas. Relatives and friends may gather at the Irvine Hall, Williamstown, Ontario on Friday, October 30th from 7-9 pm. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes, 46 Oak St. Lancaster, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to CHEO would be appreciated by the family.
