Paul Langdon

1947 – 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Langdon on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in New-York City with his partner Inam Malik at his side. A celebration of his life was held in Montreal, attended by many of his friends, including his dear and longtime friend Ruth (Lawson) from Toronto and many others coming from different parts the world. Paul was a member of the Concordia Faculty of Fine Arts, where he taught until his retirement. He had previously taught Art Education at Vanier College. In both places he is remembered as a dedicated teacher, an efficient administrator and a valuable colleague. Friends, students, colleagues appreciated not only the gifted teacher but also the fine human being, always cheerful, resourceful, creative, and ready to share his considerable knowledge of all forms of art, visual or musical. He will be missed by all who had the privilege to benefit from his friendship, his sense of humour and his wisdom.
