Mendy Solak
It was with great sorrow that the College informed us of the passing of Mendy Solak, a long-time administrator at Vanier College. He passed away after a long illness on December 23, 2003.
Mendy devoted many loyal years to Vanier and will be greatly missed.

SOLAK, Mendy (Mendel). Peacefully in his sixty-third year, after a courageous battle on Tuesday, December 23, 2003. Beloved husband of Henny Feldman. Devoted father of Toby. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Zelda, Bella and Eddie Kasner, Rita and Irving Baron, Lea and Alain Goldschlager, Jerry and the late Mary. Special devoted uncle, stepfather and grandfather, and he will also be missed by his many friends and colleagues. Sincere thanks to Dr. Michel and staff of 2 N.E. Cardiac Ward of the Jewish General Hospital for their kindness, compassion and devoted care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, December 26.
