Henry Lehmann

It was with great sadness that Vanier College learned of the sudden death of Henry Lehmann on November 26, 2009. Henry was a teacher in both the Humanities Department and in Communications, Art Media & Theatre. He was also a renowned art critic who wrote extensively for major publications such as the Montreal Gazette and was also frequently featured on CBC Radio.

Our deepest sympathies are extended to Henry’s family as well as to his many friends and colleagues.

Subsequent to his death, newspaper articles that highlighted many of Henry’s notable contributions appeared in The Gazette and The Hour (articles are no longer online) . As well, there’s an excellent link to many of Henry’s recently published articles on this page in the Fagstein blog website.
