Donna Lynn Tolmatch
August 26, 1952 – February 10, 2019
A native Montrealer, she was born to Mary Calib and Alex Tolmatch, the youngest of three daughters. She grew up in a house filled with laughter and love. Donna attended McGill University, where she received the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Gold Medal and met her future husband, Irwin. Their marriage of 32 years produced three children and priceless memories. As an architect, Donna worked for several leading firms before starting her own practice and later became a teacher, a vocation she loved.
A celebration of her life will be held February 16th, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at LOV, 1232 de la Montagne.
Donations in her memory can be made to The Canadian Cancer Research Society or Conservation Manitou.
