This major offers courses and activities that provide students with an in-depth understanding of gender issues relevant to daily life in the 21st century. Eligible courses also explore intersecting and related topics such as race and racism, constructions of masculinity, able-ism, socioeconomic impacts, colonialism and decolonization, Indigeneity, climate crisis activism, religious intolerance, barriers to accessing healthcare, and 2SLGBTQI+ rights, among many others.
