The Learning Centre

 Please mark ALL your availabilities in order to help us find a tutor.
Each availability must be at least 1 hour. Universal Break (Wednesdays from 12:00-1:30 p.m.) CANNOT be used.

It is understood that:

• I must meet with my tutor for a minimum of one hour every week, up to a maximum of three hours per week, for the semester.
• I will be on time for my appointments. If there is an emergency and I can't keep my appointment, I will call my tutor the night before. For last minute emergencies, I will call Joanne at 514-744-7500 (7891).
• The missed session must be made up at an alternate time.
• I will check my Omnivox messages on a regular basis and respond to my messages from Joanne.
• If I cannot continue with my tutoring sessions, I will advise Joanne right away.
• If I miss more than two sessions, I will not be permitted to continue in the program.
• The tutor and I will not do homework assignments. Instead, we will use teaching modules for listening/speaking, reading and comprehension, and written expression.
• The tutor will not do any work for me, nor supply answers, ideas, or wording for assignments that I must submit as my own work.
• I agree to make a firm commitment to improve my English skills.
