The Learning Centre volunteers are dynamic, responsible and creative individuals from every program in the College, who usually give one or two hours a week to The Learning Centre. While their interests are varied, they all share an innovative spirit! Volunteers are encouraged to concentrate on their interests and strengths, and to develop any skills they consider to be weak.

RewardsThe Learning Centre offers you many rewards as a TLC Assistant since you will not be paid for your work. Some of these rewards are meeting new friends as you work, becoming acquainted with The Learning Centre staff and various members of the College faculty, receiving a reference letter upon request (which may be used in applications for university and/or prospective employers) and adding valuable work experience to your CV. TLC Assistants have reported that, as a result of the program, they have improved their communication, interpersonal, computer, and leadership skills. |
