Information for Tutees
- This is a program where you work directly with a Vanier student who is strong in English to improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
- This program is free; there is no cost to you.
- All we ask from you is that you make a firm commitment to meet your tutor once per week for one hour (same time every week).
- You will work on material that has been especially prepared for you by the English Department.
- You cannot work on any homework assignments.
- You will find that working consistently with another student throughout the semester will improve your English.
- The English Peer Tutoring Program is very rewarding for both tutor and tutee and provides a great opportunity to make friends.
- If you are interested in practicing your English language skills, take a look at our conversation club.
