This semester's Great Debate, organized by Joanne Ellis, stimulated much thought and drew out great arguments.
The three students who participated, Avi Bendahan, Tania Jenkins and Kevin Markl, prepared arguments both for and against a jury trial, and found out a few seconds before debating which side they were going to be debating for. The winners, Avi and Tania, have been selected to represent Vanier College at The Bar of Montreal Debating Competition, to be held on March 31st at the Montreal Court House.
