On Wednesday April 24th, 2002, Ms. Elke Roth, of Maracon & Associates International Inc., presented a workshop on effective communication to TLC assistants. The workshop stressed the importance of effective communication and outlined three major concepts of influencing others through communication: 1) active listening, 2) questioning, and 3) responding. All concepts were examined through active participation of the assistants. Overall, the workshop was a great success, and Ms. Roth was especially skillful at portraying the importance of good communication; something that we do in our everyday lives, but many of us overlook.
