On Friday, May 22nd, The Learning Centre hosted the Annual Learning Centre Conference. This conference is hosted by a different college/university each year. Approximately, thirty-five participants came from the Montreal/Quebec Anglophone Learning Centres as well as the CCDMD. A range of topics were covered including: Improving Academic Writing Skills, Avoiding Plagiarism, Implementing Success Plans for At-Risk Students, Strengthening Literacy Skills, Preparing for the English Exit Exam and Targeting Specific Needs through Workshops and Labs.
