The Learning Centre

The Learning Centre offers you many different services. Visit us and browse through our numerous tipsheets: they offer useful tips and strategies for writing, analysing literature and poetry, note-taking, studying for your exams and time management. We can also match you up with a peer tutor who will work with you to improve your English throughout the semester.

You are always welcome to book individual appointments with the staff here, and with our guidance, you can improve your essay writing skills, your reading techniques, and discuss other areas of concern, such as time management, study strategies or effective listening. We offer many focused workshops here as well, which can help you in preparing for the English Exit Exam or oral presentations, writing your letter of intent for university or applying for scholarships. For dynamic and interactive learning, come to our weekly conversation club and pronunciation club to improve your oral communications skills.

For those of you who enjoy a challenge, we have a variety of contests, such as Bridge Building and Public Speaking.
