Responsibilities:
● Inspect buildings and outside areas of property to detect signs of wildlife intrusion
● Identify wildlife concern and determine type of exclusion method necessary and explain details of the job and provide estimate of costs to clients
● Advise clients on how to prevent or limit wildlife encounters in or around their home
● Provide exceptional customer service
● Maintain a high level of wildlife behavior and service knowledge
● Work in various weather conditions
● Operate in confined spaces including attics and crawlspaces
● Use of power/hand tools, insulation/restoration equipment
● Job assignments may include positions such as crouching, squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing up & down ladders, carrying ladders & other equipment
● Direct and/or assist other workers in exclusion methods
● Comply with all company health and safety policies

Requirements:
● High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
● Post-Secondary diploma, certificate or degree in wildlife management or biology
● Valid driver’s licence with clean abstract
● Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
● Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
● Computer literate with proficiency using basic word processing and database software
● Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
● Empathy and understanding for customers with agrizoophobia
● Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
● Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
● Ability to work individually and as part of a team
● High level of integrity and work ethic
● Comply with all Humane Wildlife Control policies and procedures, as well as Federal and Provincially mandated legislation and regulations
