Practice and promote safety measures; promote a healthy environment for the children; ensure that the learning environment is age appropriate, stimulating and conducive to the development of The Whole Child; foster physical competence, cognitive competence, communication, creativity, sense of self and social competence; employ guidance techniques that are appropriate, positive and respectful of the children; prepare, assess and revise pedagogical tools and programs that are reflective of the daycare’s philosophy.

Looking for someone with either a DEC or and AEC in ECE, or, someone who is working towards one of these diplomas. Previous experience in a daycare setting is a must. Bilingualism is an asset.
