SUMMARY


The incumbent provides proactive technical and administrative support for all HR activities. In collaboration with the Advisors, HR and Centre of Expertise in HR (CEHR) specialists, proposes reports and computerized tools to optimize HR processes and provides technical support for the management of employee and organizational databases.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES


Analyzes the needs and develops complex reports and tables for compensation, benefits, training, employment equity and staff relations management;Inputs HR data in the HR information system (PeopleSoft);Produces and monitors the monthly HR performance indicators reports;Administers and updates the data in the HR integrated system (applicant management, training management, performance management, workforce planning, succession planning);Acts as resource person for HR software and databases;Participates in the development, implementation and optimization of HR processes related to employee file management, benefits, staffing and training;Participates in coordinating HR special activities and projects; Performs various administrative tasks, including filing, for the CEHR and the Advisors, HR.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• College diploma in administration, office automation or equivalent;
• Approximately four years’ relevant experience performing similar functions;
• Experience in a HR department would be an asset;
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of the Office suite;
• Good knowledge of People Soft or any other HRIM software would be an asset;
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, synthesizing and problem solving skills;
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously using an organized, structured and rigorous work approach;
• Effective sense of organization, autonomy, initiative and discretion;
• Proficiency in both official languages (French and English).
