Night construction work on avenue Sainte-Croix
As part of the infrastructure reconstruction project on avenue Sainte-Croix, the Ville de Montreal informs you that night construction work will be carried out on June 8, 9 and 10 at the intersection of avenue Sainte-Croix and rue Decelles.
To accelerate work and minimize the impact on residents and traffic, the intersection of Sainte-Croix and Decelles will be completely closed to circulation as of Friday, June 8 at 8 p.m. The intersection will reopen Monday morning, June 11 before5 a.m.
Traffic during the work
During the work, the intersection will be closed to traffic. Only southbound traffic will be permitted on Sainte-Croix to allow residents to access Decelles. Residents of Sainte-Croix, between de l’Église and Decelles can access their residence by de l’Église. Only local traffic is allowed. Please respect the signs around the worksite.
In the following week, Hydro-Québec will be undertaking work alongside of Sainte-Croix and Decelles as well as in the vicinity of the intersection. This work should be completed by mid-August.
Homes, institutions and businesses situated alongside the worksite will be accessible at all times. Sidewalks will generally be accessible, but may be blocked during some phases.
