At Vanier College, we are proud of our rigorous approach to instruction in Science. Over the years we have built a reputation for excellence in Science studies. Our commitment to excellence extends to the size of our classes. The lab components of all science courses have a maximum of twenty students.

Excellent Preparation

A DEC in Science is excellent preparation for many areas of university studies including fields like engineering, medicine or ecology but also for topics as diverse as finance and education. Once enrolled in Science at Vanier College, we strongly recommend that students consult with an Academic Advisor concerning the necessary prerequisites for university programs.

A Variety of Science Options

Vanier College offers a variety of options within our Science program. In addition to our Health Science and Pure and Applied Science profiles, we also offer an enriched option, Honours Science as well as a Science and Music double DEC and a new Science and Commerce double DEC. We also offer options such as Explorations/Pathways - Prerequisite profile that allows students an opportunity to acquire missing program prerequisites
