| Students in both Health Science and Pure and Applied Science take the same required courses. They may take different optional courses. Students going into math, physics or engineering might opt to take another math or physics course or computer programming. We strongly recommend that students consult with an Academic Advisor concerning the necessary prerequisites for university programs. |

| The program consists of 26 courses, in four semesters over a two-year period. Included in the 26 courses are: |

| Concentration Courses |
| |
| 9 concentration courses, that are in the disciplines of mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology, must be taken with an additional 3 option courses. Option courses are chosen from a designated list in the disciplines of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Computer Science (Programming). There is a maximum of five courses in a discipline. |

A typical semester would include:
- 3 concentration courses
- 1 English course
- 1 Humanities course during 3 of the semesters
- 1 Physical Education course during 3 of the semesters
- 1 French or 1 Complementary course
