To Print A Schedule Of Your Courses:
- Go to Omnivox and Log In
- Click on My Schedule
- Click on Winter 2009 semester
- Enter your password and print your schedule
To View Your Progression Chart
- Go to Omnivox and Log In
- Click on Progression Chart
Fee Payment Information is available on the Vanier website. Course fees are paid at Fee Payment on Omnivox
Bookstore and Textbook Information is available on the Vanier website.
ID Cards
Your ID card is necessary for routine identification while on College premises, and is also mandatory to use the library facilities, Internet service, etc. It also functions as a cash card for computer printing and photocopying. Bring your class schedule or fee payment receipt to the IT Centre, D301 weekdays, from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. to get your ID card.

EXTRA COURSE REGISTRATION
NON-GRADUATING STUDENTS
- To receive permission : Pre-university students must have passed 7 courses in A08. Technology students must have passed the full course load in A08
- Click here to access the online form. The deadline for submitting your request is Monday, January 26, 2009 noon.
- If you are eligible, the permission for an extra course will be coded into the registration system, then you must follow the usual Preference Course Change procedure.

Preference Course Change Procedures
(WEB ONLY) Tuesday, January 27, 09 (7:00 am - 11:00 am ONLY)
Preference Course Change is for students who want to make changes to courses in order to:
- Change time
- Change teacher
- Register for another preferred course
- Add a course (non-graduating students)
The Procedure:
- Check for open sections on the Winter 09 Course Schedule on January 26 after 5pm
- Complete the Course Change Request Form (active only at 7:00 am)
- Check your schedule on Omnivox after 12:00pm to see if the change was successful
If you wish to add a course, submit a Preference Course Change form with only the section number of the course you want to add.
Preference course changes are limited to a one-to-one exchange only (i.e. drop one course/add one course)
All changes are final. You must be absolutely sure before you submit a request for any change.

Glossary
Academic Probation The status given to students who do not meet the criteria for Good Academic Standing in the College in any ONE semester
Additional Requirements in the Program Notwithstanding being in Good Academic Standing in the College, students in certain Programs may be obliged to meet Additional Requirements in order to remain in, or to advance in their Program. These Additional Program Requirements are defined by the Program as detailed in Appendices P of this policy.
Assigned courses courses to which students are assigned; listed in bold on pre-university grids; professional students are assigned to all their specialization courses.
Block A courses English, French and Humanities courses taken by students in all programs.
Block B courses English (603-HS_), French (602-HS_) and Humanities (345-HS_) courses specific to a student's program.
Complementary courses courses chosen from disciplines other than those in a student's concentration/specialization; chosen from a specific list.
Concentration courses courses that belong to disciplines specific to a pre-university program.
Co-requisite a course that must be taken concurrently with another course; e.g., 203-NYC Waves must be taken with 201-NYB Calculus II (unless Calculus II has been passed).
Course description can be found by clicking on the course title (printed in blue) on the Course Schedule.
Course Number combination of 8 digits or letters that identifies a course; e.g., 201-NYA-05 / 350-102-VA / 603-101-30.
Delete deadline deadline by which students may delete a course or withdraw from the College without incurring failures; the Autumn semester delete deadline is September 20, the Winter semester delete deadline is February 15.
Discipline subject area; e.g., Mathematics (201), Psychology (350), English (603)
Elementary French 1, 2, 3 and 4 offered in Continuing Education only; students must get permission from an Academic Advisor before they can register for these courses
EQ (Equivalence) notation that appears on program planner and transcript; indicates that a student has been given an equivalence for a course passed at a post-secondary institution other than a Cegep. No grade is recorded; credits are assigned
Good Academic Standing in the College Pre-university Programs Each Autumn and Winter semester, Pre-university Program students must pass the equivalent of a full-time course load (four courses). Professional (Technology) Programs Each Autumn and Winter semester, Professional (Technology) Program students must pass more than 50% of the courses in which they are registered and more than 50% of their Professional Program courses. Intensive Courses Physical Education courses offered on a few late afternoons or evenings and usually 1 weekend instead of 2 hours per week for 15 weeks
Inter-session courses courses offered for 2 or 3 weeks in August before the regular Autumn semester starts, in January after the regular Autumn semester ends, or in May/June after the regular Winter semester ends Inter-session courses are coloured in yellow in the course schedule. NOTE 1: maximum one course per inter-session period. NOTE 2: these courses are offered during weekdays (even though the Telephone Registration system and printed schedule will say Saturdays). NOTE 3: these courses allow students to increase their course load by one; permission needed from an Academic Advisor
Pre-requisite a course which must be passed before a subsequent course is taken
Progression Chart summary of courses a student has passed to date; includes courses to do, in progress and pre-registered courses; accessed via Omnivox.
Section number (Sec.) identifies section of a course on the Course Schedule.
Specialization courses courses that are specific to the three-year professional programs
SU (Substitution) notation that may appear on a program planner and transcript; indicates that a course passed in a previous program has been used to replace a course in the present program; no grade or credits are assigned to the replacement course
