We’re all too familiar these days with false news stories and the negative impact they can have. How do we best teach our students to evaluate what they read online? In part, we must be well informed ourselves.

This month, la Toile des Communicateurs, in collaboration with TELUQ and other partners, is hosting a conference on false information on the web. The conference features Jeff Yates, the Métro journalist who writes the Inspecteur viral blog.

• Conference Title: Les faussetés sur le Web : un vrai problème
