|The Quebec English-speaking Communities Research Network (QUESCREN) and the Eastern Townships Resource Centre are pleased to announce an upcoming public event taking place at Concordia University, Montreal on Thursday, 30 November 2017 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
This event will explore themes surrounding literature and identity within Quebec’s English-speaking communities. Professor Jason Camlot, who teaches in the English literature department at Concordia, will look at the history of English-language writing in Quebec. He will be joined by Concordia graduate, filmmaker and writer Anita Aloisio, who will explore issues surrounding the complexity of linguistic identities, particularly within Quebec’s Italian-origin community.
This event is free and open to the general public. There are limited spaces, and only registered guests can attend.
